Noor, Madeline, and Amy knocked themselves out auditioning for GHUSD’s annual Honor Band — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chair, respectively. Congratulations to all three on a beautiful concert. And, a special shout-out to Madeline & Amy for receiving their 4-year membership awards. Way to go!

San Diego Music Institute summer camp, 2018
Madeline & Bella had a ball at SDMI’s music camp sponsored by SDSU. Each stepped up to lead an ensemble for the weeknight performance. The Saturday recital was top notch!

Each of my students turned in a beautiful solo performance – Bella (Excellent), Noor (Excellent), Amy (Superior), and Madeline (Superior). Congratulations to Amy & Madeline, who were invited back for the evening Command Performance. Bravo!

Val’s flute students & Geoff Nigl’s piano students performed beautifully, as did the Middle School Silver Winds, High School Windsong, and Adult Ensemble.

Congratulations to Madeline and Noor for their participation with the GUHSD District Honor Band. Madeline earned 1st chair, and was honored as a 3rd year member. Noor earned third chair in his first performance with the honor band.
